Congress St. Reroute for Railroad Crossing Repair starts June 26
ROUTES AFFECTED: Route 1 - Congress Street, Metro BREEZ, Route 5 - Maine Mall, Route 7 - Falmouth - Portland - Jetport/DHHS, Route 9B - North Deering via Washington Avenue
EFFECTIVE DATE: June 26, 2025
Please note – beginning Thursday, June 26, a portion of Congress Street will closed for up to six days as crews work on a railroad crossing.
The bus stops at Frederic Street and Union Square Plaza will not be in service during this time.
Routes 5, 7, 9, and BREEZ may be delayed. Please use nearby bus stops.
