Added Metro Bus Service to Back Cove Festival – August 2-3, 2025

Greater Portland Metro will operate a special Festival bus route, FREE from 8-11pm, on August 2-3, 2025 for direct, frequent service to the Back Cove Festival at Payson Park.
Additionally, Metro Route 9B will extend service to 11pm and operate every 15 minutes.

Service Alert: Metro Service for Concerts at Thompson’s Point – May to September 2025

Greater Portland Metro will provide direct service for Route 1 and Metro BREEZ  to the bus stop at Thompson’s Point until 5pm on nights of concerts.

After 5pm, please go to the Portland Transportation Center (PTC) to board Route 1 and Metro BREEZ.

If Metro bus service at the PTC is delayed due to heavy concert traffic, please walk to temporary bus stop, along Fore River Parkway, for Route 1 and BREEZ service or to Congress St., via Sewall St., for Metro routes 5, 7, and 9.

Service Change at Yarmouth Town Hall bus stop

The Yarmouth Farmers’ Market is scheduled to take place on Thursdays from May 1 – Oct. 30, 2025 from 1pm to 7pm. During this event, the bus will not stop at the regular BREEZ bus stop/shelter in front of Town Hall. When the regular stop is closed, riders should board the bus on Main Street in Yarmouth.

 

On Thursdays from May 1 - Oct. 30, riders should board the bus on Main Street in Yarmouth instead of the shelter in front of the Yarmouth Town Hall.
