Join us for an in-person public meeting to discuss the future of Metro bus service in South Portland and Scarborough! After a brief presentation, we’ll have a workshop-style meeting where we’ll be asking you to tell us how transit can work better for you. We’ll discuss:
- The difficulties with using transit in South Portland and Scarborough today
- The types of improvements that are possible within our budget
- Prioritizing coverage vs. frequency
- Microtransit
And we’ll want to hear from you about:
- Key origin and destinations within South Portland, Scarborough, and beyond
- Your priorities for transit in South Portland and Scarborough
- Direct service to many destinations
- Fast, frequent service
- Weekend service
- Service hours
