Portland VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) secures Greater Portland Metro public transportation stop

VA Maine Healthcare System announced today that they have been working in partnership with the Greater Portland Metro to expand public transportation access to eligible Veterans, VA staff, and visitors through the implementation of a Metro stop at the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic located at 141 West Commercial Street in Portland, Maine. The stop at the clinic was made possible by Metro leadership and their expansion of existing routes running between Scarborough, South Portland, and Portland, Maine. Metro will serve the VA clinic every 45 minutes in both the north and south-bound directions. Service will be free for all ridership through October 2026.
