Greater Portland Transit District (GPM) is accepting proposals for On-Demand Transit Pilot Program-Microtransit Software System until Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 2:00pm EST.

General Scope

  • Greater Portland Transit District (“GPM”) is soliciting proposals to create and maintain a microtransit software system. Fueled by federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding this initiative aims to enhance the existing fixed-route bus network by integrating a microtransit pilot program in Falmouth.

In order to participate in this RFQ, firms must register at www.colbisecurebids.com .

GPM receives funding from the Federal Transit Administration and as such is required to follow federal procurement regulations and to require its consultants and contractors to understand and adhere to those requirements. FTA requirements are conditions for this RFP and contract, and are included in the RFP document.
